Frequently Asked Questions – Chris Koch Graphic Design

FAQs

Here's a few questions I typically get asked:

What do you sell?
Companies and individuals hire me to develop their businesses image through print and digital design. Both parties typically share the same end goal – to give the company an identity which is inline with the type of work they do or product they sell. The link below demonstrates what some of these things might be, it can range from one or two fields to all fields.
How much do you charge?
A question I get asked a lot! This varies based on what type of work needs to be done with time being the main calculating factor. I don’t have any set pricing where a logo costs $X and a brochure $Y, as I don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach to the project. I’m more than happy to send a quote or give an estimation when I know more specific information about the project/s
We’re in a different country than you. Will it be a hassle?
That's totally fine! Having freelanced for a while now, each designer has different values and conditions of work, most of which vary a great deal. My rate is based on my conditions and the quality of work I create.
How long does it take for a project to be completed?
The timeframe of a project depends heavily on the brief and job requirements. This can be discussed before I send the quote to you. Does it influence the quote? Not often, but sometimes if the deadline is very tight, then it will. You will know before the project begins if it is a rush job or not.
Can you begin working now?
This depends on the amount of work I have at the time, which does fluctuate. I never want to compromise on jobs I currently have going, and they take first priority. For really urgent jobs, I do enforce a rush fee.
Who will be working on my project?
Only me! I'm a one-man show, working directly with you the entire project. I believe in collaboration with my clients, so I love being in touch and discussing the potential of your brand.
