Premium jewellery brochure, showcasing a wide range of product
In an attempt to rediscover and elevate the Rutherford brand, the 2025 brochure was aimed at revitalising the Collins Street brand. As an essential tool for Rutherford, the brochure showcases product and information for jewellery they sell. With three premier locations in Melbourne, it's important to showcase the brand in a way that customers expect and can appreciate.
Elevating the Rutherford brand from the previous 2024 brochure was natural – to better align to product to expectation was one key aspect I encouraged.
Product photo and visual accuracy allows customers to meet expectation
Jewellery product representation within the brochure was critical. A large portion of the working with Rutherford was aligning to the photographer Anthony Masci, to develop photos that print that customers can appreciate and feel like are accurate to their real world representation.
This is vital in the jewellery world, where emeralds, sapphires, rubys (and so on) represent differently in photos than real life. So, working with Anthony and Rutherford allowed us to produce accurate imagery for customers to appreciate.
Redesigning and revitalising the Rutherford brand through catalogue design
Part of the updated brochure design for 2025 was to begin to further develop the Rutherford brand in a direction that would be deemed more accurate. I carefully selected typefaces and design aesthetics to allow furhter alignment with their target audience.Have you outgrown your branding?
Time to launch into the next phase (or, if you're just starting, that's fine too)!
