Lushi – Coffee Company Branding

Premium, traditional logo, branding and packaging design for a coffee / tea company, with a contemporary twist. A lot of emphasis in creating a brand which looks and feels like it has heritage, but is also breaking into a modern design language.

The logotype was completely created by hand, with custom, hand-drawn typography for a very personal feeling. The surrounding aesthetics of the logo incorporate the language of the brand – sophicated and elegant. This follows through to the broad colour scheme of the brand, with mainly browns used as base colours, and bright, pop colours for impact such as red, yellow, green, orange and blue. Each of the colours and shades of brown allow the brand to be very adaptable depending in price point of the product and type of product.

Being a coffee related brand, it had to demonstrate qualities reflective of the price point of the coffee (mid-high) and also a look which allows customers to be proud to hold or have the product – almost a display piece.
