Branding for Melbourne Council Advisory Committee

LeadWest is an advisory committee for five councils in Melbourne including Hobsons Bay, Wyndham, Melton, Maribyrnong and Brimbank. Using their existing logo, I designed collateral and a style guide for the committee, stationed in Melbourne’s West. With an emphasis on local jobs, business precincts and advocacy, I designed material which was bright, engaging and striking for a committee of this sort.

A vision for Melbourne’s west council areas deserves design collateral to suit

LeadWest provides a forum for the devleopment of a consolidated view of five of Melbourne’s council areas. The vision should be bright, maximise community beliefs, and a sustainable economic development plan. The design collateral should look to the future, which is why the advertising, letterheads, pull-up marketing banners and so on are forward in their design language.

A growing Melbourne population council district

With almost 1 million people in the five councils, the district is growing rapidly. The design reflects on younger families living in the council areas. The colours are youthful, lively and ‘green’, demonstrating progressiveness.
