Logo & Packaging Design for pasture raised egg company
Kookaburra Grove Farms, a beautiful little egg farm in Yellingbo, Victoria, came to me with the requirement of creating a logo and egg carton packaging for their srartup. With pasture fed hens, and hand gathered eggs, their happy hens are less than 100 per hectre.
Shelf presence in-store and unique visuals, meets highly natural farm produce
The exciting aspect working with Kookaburra Grove Farms, was the contrast in logo design requirements and packaging potential. The client requested two kookaburras, synonymous with the company's founders – a couple starting their own brand.
The logo design encapsulates the area that the company is founded and located, in Yellingbo, Victoria, Australia. To paint a picture, Yellingbo is in Victoria's Yarra Valley, with rolling hills and picturesque scenery.
Brand visual appeal and shelf presence is a big part of the packaging design
Farmers Market design and visuals for marketing
With the company starting largely by selling at Farmer's Markets, it's easy to see the brand standing out in an abundance of different stalls. With bright pink label design on the egg carton packaging, bold type, striking elements and visuals, it would be hard to miss.
The future – packaging design in Coles, Woolworths and IGA
Part of designing effective labels and packaging is future proofing the product. With Kookaburra Grove Farms, the product will be available in IGA throughout some areas of Victoria. With scope, one day, to potentially sell within Coles and Woolworths, it's important for the brand to stand out against the competition.
There's elements of the design, such as the bold pink and white aesthetic, directional graphics and illustrations, that would lend this brand to having a massive impact at your local supermarket.
Signage, brochure, banner, wrap, packaging...
The list goes on, right? Print design is still in huge demand, and attention to detail is more critical than ever. Brand your business with physical collateral that customers absolutely love.
